The Corporation Board begins the rebuild process with a tour of the building and begins to meet with its insurance company.  It is determined that while there is extensive damage, the house can be rebuilt.  A new roof will be needed, and the entire interior will need to be demolished and rebuilt.

An arsonist sets fire to the Alpha Xi Delta House.  All of the chapter members and house mother are safe, but the building sustained massive damage due to fire, smoke and water.  Chapter members have been re-housed on campus for the remainder of the year.

Today was winter graduation on campus.  Congratulations to our newest member of the Long Blue Line!

Our collegiate sisters picked up major awards earlier today, winning Chapter of the Year, Greek Woman of the Year, and Chapter Advisor of the Year!  Congrats!

A total of 15 sisters graduated from Marietta College today.  Welcome to the Long Blue Line!

Congratulations to our sisters who just received their master’s degrees for completing Marietta’s Physician Assistant program!  Go forth and do great things!

General repairs are taking place and prep work is being done for the installation of our new HVAC system.  The back porch and fire escape are also being replaced and repaired.

Our new Alpha Xi Delta Beta Xi Foundation was officially incorporated in the state of Ohio today.  We can’t wait to do great things!

The Chapter recruited nine new members during fall recruitment and added an additional two during Continuous Open Bidding.  Congrats!  We’re excited to meet our new sisters at Hoco!

A grand jury indictment was issued and a suspect was arrested for setting fire to the Alpha Xi Delta house in 2021.  The trial is scheduled for December.
